In collaboration with Ruby J Events, we helped create the setting for a high-profile national morning show broadcast, where warm, sophisticated tones welcomed viewers and guests into an engaging atmosphere. Through thoughtful design—including carefully chosen seating, textured rugs, and natural wood accents—we shaped a stage that felt dynamic yet inviting, setting the tone for genuine conversations. For the host’s updates, a communal setup with smooth wood tones and textured fabrics created a sense of continuity and connection, blending perfectly with the show’s vibrant energy.
Following this, our team shifted focus to a wellness retreat set in Austin’s serene hill country. This tranquil gathering invited guests to explore mindfulness and well-being in an environment that fostered both connection and introspection. Each area of the retreat was designed with a balance of comfort and simplicity, incorporating soft, earth-toned seating, natural greenery, and understated textures. Together, these mindful design elements created a calming, reflective environment, allowing attendees to feel grounded and at ease.
Designing with Purpose: From Live Broadcasts to Reflective Retreats
Creating spaces that enhance each gathering’s purpose takes more than delivering and setting up furniture. For both the broadcast and the wellness retreat, our team prioritized every detail to ensure that each space was cohesive and supportive of the event’s goals. The broadcast setting emphasized sophistication and energy, while the wellness retreat embraced calm, using natural materials, warm colors, and an open layout to encourage personal connection and reflection.
For the wellness retreat’s opening event, we designed a comfortable outdoor lounge that blended rustic wood elements, greenery, and warm tones to reflect Austin’s natural beauty. Low tables and cozy, welcoming seating fostered a relaxed atmosphere where guests could gather and enjoy the outdoors before the retreat began. This flexible setup allowed guests to feel immersed in the environment, connecting comfortably with each other and with nature.

These Austin events aligned with a particularly busy period for us, as we prepared for IMEX—a global trade show for events professionals—and put the finishing touches for our grand opening event at our new Austin location.
